Stay connected to other people. It makes a difference.
Gather on Mondays at 1:30pm (except for July and August). You don't need to be skilled at crafts to come. Some of the projects we have accomplished include: knitted preemie caps and afghans for the nursery at Trillium Health Partners; heart pillows for the Cardiac Unit; knitted hats for chemo patients at Trillium Health Partners; toiletry bags for young people staying at "Our Place Peel"; and bed mats made out of plastic milk bags for people in Haiti.
(Retired or Underemployed Men)If you are a retired or underemployed man you are invited to join the R.U.M. lunch group every third Wednesday of the month. We start with mid day prayers in the church; share a light lunch together; and hear a presentation from a guest or member of the group about a topic.
The Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of every month (except July and August) for discussion, fun and fellowship. A list of upcoming books is available at the church.
Come to learn more about music and participate in the musical leadership of worship for the services on Sunday at 10:30. We rehearse on Sundays at 9:30 am (except in July and August). The choir welcomes adults as well as young people. There are a variety of musical styles and traditions that we use, and we welcome people of all ages. Contact John Terauds, the music director, if you are interested.
